As a mother of a very strong-willed and independent daughter who has taught her mother that you can do anything. At the age of 40 I choose to semi-retire and become a full-time cross-stitch designer and publisher of crooss-stitch charts.

How did this all start you may ask! Well at the age of about 8 I watched one of my grandmother's stitch and create this beautiful tablecloth and I was hooked. So for the last 40 years I have stitched almost all styles of stitching from needlepoint, petit-point, hardanger and my favorite cross-stitching. But, there was always something missing - lots of landscapes, animals and flowers to stitch, but never the things I wanted to keep and hang on my walls.

So when it came time to decide what I wanted to stitch and design Enchanting Lair was born. Now I love to design and stitch any dragon, mermaid and fairie I can either dream up or have the priviledge to design by some of the best fantasy artists out there.
